Last week, OnlyFans said they has made changes to their policy, and going forward, they would prohibit sexually explicit material, but would still allow nudity. The website pinned this move on changing policies at banks and other payment processors.

a great number of sex workers depend on the site as their major revenue stream, so the news wasn’t something they were expecting.

While the bank has been called off temporarily, the sex workers feel weary as they are not sure whether the change will be effected a later date.

The website said the move came because they are facing increasing pressure from banks and other payment processing partners.

Over the years, payment processors have been acting tough on transactions relating to adult content. Mastercard set up new rules for such transaction last April.

OnlyFans noted in a statement that the changes they had proposed will not longer apply because their banking partners issued assurances that they website can continue supporting al manner of creators.
