The West Island Youth Symphony Orchestra will present the second concert of this season’s regular series, “O Fortuna”
The orchestra, joined by Le Groupe vocal Phoenix, will present excerpts from Mozart’s Requiem and Fortuna Metamorphosis, a special choral compilation on the theme of “Fate” arranged by the choir’s director, Frédéric Vogel.
Entitled “O Fortuna”, the concert will also include Tchaikovsky’s masterful Symphony no. 4 and the Overture to Verdi’s opera La Forza del Destino.
The concert will be conducted by choir director, Mr. Vogel and West Island Youth Symphony Orchestra’s conductor, Stewart Grant.
