Premier Tim Houston has high hopes for the new application’s potential to aid the province’s residents. He voiced his belief that YourHealthNS could significantly ease individuals’ navigation within Nova Scotia’s healthcare system, thereby enabling them to make well-informed health-care decisions.
The Premier emphasized the application’s vital role in enhancing healthcare accessibility, stating, “If Nova Scotians can’t find the healthcare information they need, they can’t make decisions about how to access care. YourHealthNS will help Nova Scotians find the right care when they need it, no matter where they are in the province.”
Apart from being accessible via the mobile platform, YourHealthNS also holds a presence on the internet. Any individual in the province holding a valid health card number and an email address can benefit from the service by registering for virtual care.
