In the star-studded mecca of Los Angeles, 10-year-old North West, the progeny of world-renowned celebrities Kim Kardashian and the musician formerly called Kanye West, or simply, Ye, has set her sights on a new venture quite distant from her “Paw Patrol” days. North is set to grace the stage with a star-studded ensemble in a concert rendition of the universally cherished tale, “The Lion King.”

The glittering cast encapsulates some of the brightest talents across diverse genres, with the list boasting luminaries such as Heather Headley, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Jennifer Hudson, and Lebo M. This galaxy of stars is set to converge and illuminate the Hollywood Bowl for a two-night spectacle of a concert, scheduled to unfold on the nights of May 24 and 25.

With a grand air of anticipation surrounding this event, sketched out under the banner “Disney’s The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl,” the concert is outlined to be a visual marvel accompanied by a symphony of sound. The in-concert film rendition will feature a full-fledged orchestra, weaving magic with the tunes of Hans Zimmer’s Oscar-winning score.

Staying true to the original Broadway production’s grandeur, the cast will serve up an ensemble of musical sequences, complete in the resplendence of their Broadway wardrobe, the sheer creativity of the set design, and mesmerizing puppetry, designed to transport the audiences to the sweeping landscape of the African savannah.

North West, who made her voice acting debut as ‘Mini’ in 2021’s “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie,” sharing the spotlight with Taraji P. Henson, Kristen Bell, and James Marsden, is no stranger to musical features either. She shared an auditory glimpse into her talent with the single “Talking/Once Again,” crafted as a collaboration between her father and Ty Dolla $ign. Veering from the world of animated pups, this young creative force is poised to step into the paw prints of the majestic lions of Pride Rock, adding another resonant layer to her burgeoning artistic journey.
