No Foul Play Is Suspected In Connection With The Death Of Jaxon MacDonald

Regina police have released an official statement that says that no foul play is suspected in connection with Jaxon MacDonald’s death. The body of 15-year-old Jaxon MacDonald was found on Tuesday in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, and the police immediately started investigating the case.

The Saskatchewan RCMP and Saskatchewan Coroners Service determined that no foul play is suspected in connection with MacDonald’s death. The final result from autopsy and toxicology is still to be announced.

Saskatchewan RCMP and the coroner’s service released a statement that says:

“These preliminary results have been communicated with his family and they have been kept updated with the findings. At this time, we do not anticipate further public updates in relation to this investigation.”

The teen was reported missing last Sunday. The eyewitnesses reported seeing him leaving home in the Jubilee subdivision of Duck Mountain Provincial Park, northeast of Regina and near the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border. He left the house on foot.

Kamsack RCMP reported that MacDonald’s body was found shortly before noon Tuesday on an island on Madge Lake. The lake is located within Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
