Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is set to launch her own radio talk show next week on SiriusXM, airing once a week through the inauguration of the next president.

The show, scheduled for Wednesdays from 8 to 9 a.m. ET on SiriusXM’s Triumph channel, will feature interviews, listener calls, and political discussions. Haley also plans to talk about her interests, including Clemson football, running, and music, potentially touching on subjects like Taylor Swift.

While her own political views will be evident, Haley emphasized her desire to move past the divisive nature of current media. “My kids don’t watch the news because they think both sides are crazy,” she told The Associated Press. “And they’re not wrong. I think we have to take the craziness out, take the noise out, and break things down in a way that makes people feel empowered.”

Haley was the last remaining opponent to former President Donald Trump for the GOP nomination this year. Although she endorsed Trump and supported him at the convention, he hadn’t sought her assistance on the general election campaign trail until recently. Haley confirmed that Trump’s team had contacted her in the past two weeks to discuss potential joint appearances, although none are scheduled. She emphasized that her radio show will not serve as a platform for campaigning for any particular candidate.

Haley disclosed that she had been approached by partisan news outlets for potential work, but she declined their offers. She expressed her frustration with how the media has become biased and predictable. “I think that’s what Americans are tired of,” Haley remarked. “They don’t want to watch a news show and know exactly which candidate and politics are being pushed. They want to know the issues and how they’ll affect their families. I want to break it down on a policy level.”

Haley mentioned that she is open to continuing the show beyond January if it resonates with listeners. When asked about the show’s potential impact on her political future, Haley said, “I’m not thinking about politics at this point. I’m thinking about what would be fun for me.” Her donors and supporters were informed about the show through an announcement on Tuesday, which included an invitation to join a mailing list and contribute to a political action committee.
