The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported that the explosion occurred just after the boat’s engines were started, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries. Video footage from the scene showed the vessel engulfed in flames, emitting thick black smoke. Authorities have yet to release detailed information regarding the cause of the incident.
