A 31-year-old cyclist tragically lost his life following a fall from his bicycle that resulted in a collision with a parked car in downtown Sherbrooke, Quebec. The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday on Dépôt Street. Local police, after conducting a thorough investigation which included witness interviews and the review of surveillance footage, have determined that the incident was not of a criminal nature. Despite prompt medical attention, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the hospital. By 2 a.m., the investigation was concluded and normal traffic operations resumed in the area.
