Police in Saint John, New Brunswick, are investigating the sudden death of a 30-year-old woman who was found unconscious on the ground in the 600-block area of Lancaster Avenue around 4 a.m. on Tuesday. The woman, who was severely injured, received emergency first aid at the scene. She was subsequently transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death. Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with video footage from the vicinity during the early hours of Tuesday to come forward and assist with the investigation.
