Ontario Provincial Police are conducting an investigation following a fatal collision between an SUV and a cattle truck in Huron County on New Year’s Day. The crash resulted in the death of a 32-year-old man from Central Huron, the sole occupant of the truck, which was transporting livestock. The driver of the SUV emerged unscathed, and there were no other passengers involved. However, several cattle sustained injuries in the incident. The collision occurred on Blyth Road near Hensall Road in Huron East. Police are currently working to determine the cause, with assistance from traffic incident officials.
