An unsuspecting Ontario Provincial Police officer, engaged in regular patrol duties, encountered the dreadful scene of the mishap at the crossroads of Wellington Road 19 and Wellington Road 16. The fateful event took place slightly before 11 a.m. on the previous Monday.
The details made available by the police revealed that the fatal collision entailed a motorcycle carrying two individuals, and an SUV. Tragically, the motorcyclist, a 67-year-old man hailing from Cambridge, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His passenger, meanwhile, managed to escape with minor injuries.
