A man, aged 31, had died after colliding with another vehicle in the Pointe-aux-Trembles borough, Montreal.
The incident occurred at about 3:25pm at the intersection between Georges-V Avenue and Notre-Dame St. East.
Witness informed police that the 31-year-old was on headed east on the Notre-Dame. Another vehicle going West turned left in the direction of Georges-V, leading to the collision.
The cyclist was rushed to hospital while in critical condition, where he succumbed to injuries a few hours later.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman in her 30s, did not sustain any injuries.
Police closed off the Notre-Dame St. in either direction starting from the Georges-V all the way to hector St following the incident. police have since pen the route to traffic.
