Montreal Mayor, Valerie Plante, announced on Twitter today that the city has canceled its cultural and sporting events until July 2, in order to limit the occasions for gatherings. “It is not an easy decision because Montreal lives to the rhythm of its summer events. We will be there to support our partners,” stated Plante.
