Consumers of chilled and frozen products from a Montreal butcher are advised to stop consuming them as they were not safely packed and have possibly made someone sick.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food issued a notice on Wednesday warning people to avoid ready-to-eat meals sold until 27th April at Boucherie Francaise at 7670 Edouard St.
The notice further stated that the meat products prepared in the store had been altered and are unfit for human consumption. Boucherie Francaise has already recalled the products.
One case of illness has been reported associated with the product mentioned above, according to the ministry. People are advised to throw away the products or return them to the store.
