In a time of confusion and anxiety caused by the devastating flood that ravaged the shores of Montreal and the surrounding areas this past week, The Living/in Company is acting as a matchmaker for those who have been temporarily ousted from their home.

“We already have made some great matches,” Mary from The Living/in Company stated. “We can help more.”

According to Mary, those in need of housing will not have to pay a fee for her services but will still have to pay the landlord rent.

“We have temporary housing available on the West Island,” Mary said. “We are looking for more landlords to fill the void as people are getting a better sense of what damages they have to contend with.”

For help finding a temporary location or if you have a place to rent to a flood victim please email : info@livingin.city
