The shooting occurred at 11:20 p.m. at a gas station on Russell Street, reported by Baltimore TV station WBFF. In another unrelated event, a Pennsylvania man faced charges after a violent and racially charged confrontation at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh on Sunday. Frank Fine, 39, allegedly struck security guards in the face and used racial slurs during the altercation. The incident escalated when Fine, who appeared to be intoxicated, was ordered to leave the casino around 1:30 a.m. by employees, according to Pennsylvania TV station WHTM. Fine refused to leave and got involved in a physical altercation with security personnel, reportedly telling Pennsylvania State Police officers, “I wanna go to jail today,” as WHTM reported.

Fine attempted to flee when state troopers arrived but was quickly apprehended. A subsequent search revealed that he carried a pipe. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and disorderly conduct and is scheduled to appear in local court on October 31. If convicted, Fine could face prison time, and local prosecutors have taken over the case.

These incidents highlight the urgent need for enhanced security measures in and around casino properties to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
