We all know how much I love farmers markets. This one is no exception. It is open seven days a week from June 24.
This is a full market. They have everything you can ask for in a farmers market. Fresh veggies and fruits that are picked locally. They also have a wide selection of preserves which, if budget permits, is added to the basket for certain. They take debit. No baked goods but there is a bakery next door.
Mylene helped me choose my mangoes, she had a selection from Mexico as well as Israel. I chose the Isreali mangoes, they were delicious. I bought my usual selection of berries from Quebec, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. I like to mix them with my cereal and almond milk in the morning. Nothing quite like Quebec berries. So sweet.
I also bought fresh corn. lettuce, tomatoes and potatoes. All grown locally.
Mylene is welcoming and helpful. Follow this market on Facebook for new arrivals and end of year closing dates. The site is fully covered so no worries if it is raining.
