With cases on the rise Legault gets tough with those not respecting rules.  During today’s press conference the leader of the CAQ, François Legault warned that the time for warnings has come to an end. Fines can be up to $6,000. He asked Quebecers to reduce contact as much as possible.  He asked businesses that could close from December 17 to January 4 to do so to help flatten the curve.

“I am not ready to make a call on Christmas,” Legault stated. “It will be up to all Quebecers to do their part to keep the hospitals from further stress.”
