A Laval man sustained serious injuries on the 26th of august after a high-speed police chase ended in a crash. The police chase began in the Terrebonne area and ended on Highway 40, east end.
Police started their chase at around 7:30 in the evening after they noticed a vehicle that had been reported as missing in Quebec two days ago.
The occupant of the vehicle refused to stop, sped away following local roads ending up in the island of Montreal, on Highway 40.
The vehicle’s airbag launched when the vehicle crashed into a construction cone, median, and lamp post. It spun a few times before it stopped.
The driver was rushed to the hospital under police surveillance with back injuries and neck injuries.
