Launching of new financial aid program for small Businesses

An initiative by the Lachine borough and PME MTL WEST‐ISLAND called the Renouveau Notre‐Dame Program aims to support and help in the establishment of new commercial businesses on Notre‐Dame Street in Lachine.

The program offers complete financial and technical support with the main objective to ensure the success of businesses establishing themselves on Notre‐Dame Street, between 6th and 19th avenues.

$5,000 Weekly Giveaway


Three types of financial aid are offered by the Program to eligible businesses:

  1. Funding A basic funding amount of $30 000. To be eligible, a candidate must respect the eligibility conditions of the Program and receive the approval by the selection committee.

  2. Crowdfunding An additional contribution of up to $5 000 as part of a crowdfunding campaign in collaboration with Haricot.ca. Each project could benefit from a contribution of $1 for each dollar ($1) raised as part of the campaign up to a maximum of $5000.

  3. Leasehold improvements An additional contribution of up to $30 000 for investment projects of leasehold improvements of more than $100 000, on the basis of $1000 contribution for each block of $10 000 worth of admissible work.

The Lachine borough has entrusted the management of this Program to PME MTL WEST‐ISLAND.
