You are invited to attend La Table de Quartier Sud de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (TQSOI)’s Annual General Meeting on June 17, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Kirkland’s Reception Hall (2nd Floor), 16950, Hymus Blvd., Kirkland (Québec), H9H 3W7.
As part of this event, TQSOI representatives will unveil the preliminary results of the Vulnerable Population Study for the territory of the Southern West Island.
This diagnostics, the first of its kind, will complete information documented in a previous study, Portrait of the Population of the Southern West Island, presented last February.
This research will enable TQSOI to better understand the specific needs of certain segments of its population.
Eight discussion groups have been organized with low income and/or isolated individuals from different demographics: newly-arrived immigrants, seniors, single-parent families, youth, parents of children with intellectual disabilities and autism, individuals with physical handicap, people with mental health issues and adults with mild intellectual deficiencies.
The individuals who have participated in these discussion groups have had the opportunity to tell their story, in order to shed light of their quality of life in the community.
