There is no better way to spend one of these glorious warm nights than eating good food and drink in a gorgeous setting. The Bijou located in Dorval at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel, ten minutes from my house in Beaconsfield, delivers in spades.
Just say lobster and I am there. It is my favourite time of the year when lobster is fresh right here in our own city. Bijou takes the Lobster Fest to new dimensions and has seafood dishes like this Seafood Stuffed Calamari to the right that will tantalise your taste buds and have me wishing I had two stomachs to fill instead of one.

Bijou offers live music and tapas on Thursday nights so if you schedule your evening you can have a two for one! In case that wasn’t enough there is oyster shucking too. A great night of seafood specials along with sweet sounds. Makes for a perfect date night. The table d’hôte is always available at $48.
The Seafood Linguini (left) is simply delicious. Loaded with shrimp and clams on a bed of linguini.

I know it’s lobster season and I love that but I have to admit my favourite dish every time is the salmon tartar. Delicately minced served with lightly cooked cracker style cones, not too spicy not too sweet. Just right.

Free parking under four hours. Get your parking ticket validated before leaving the restaurant.
