circus act, Made in Kouglistan

This story time will be followed by a special circus act, Made in Kouglistan, presented by the circus company Throw2catch. The performance will start at 11 a.m. and will take place outside the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre (1335 Lakeshore Drive). Enjoy this fascinating experience: crazy, sophisticated, and with a breakneck pace, these three acrobats lack neither air nor energy to lead you to a wacky elsewhere! Strength, skill, and acrobatic exploits – the circus is in the spotlight! Beware: this funny show will take your breath away!

Sunday, October 2: Lecture on the history of the Lachine Rapids

Historian Denis Gravel will give a lecture (in French) titled L’histoire méconnue des rapides de Lachine, de 1535 à nos jours at the Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage (1850 Lakeshore Drive), at 2 p.m.

Sunday, October 2: Open House

The Weavers’ and the Potters’ Guilds invite you to discover their creation techniques, at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
