Join us for the 2nd Edition of Bread Basket’s Empty Bowls fundraiser


Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger, where local potters donate handcrafted bowls and guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a cash donation, guests are asked to keep the bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. The money raised is donated to an orgaBread Basket's Empty Bowls fundraiser,fight hunger,local potters,handcrafted bowls,community, Rhonda Massad, West Island Blognization working to end hunger and food insecurity.

Please join us for a meal at our 2nd Edition of Bread Basket’s Empty Bowls fundraiser and help fight hunger in our community.

When: Saturday October 1, 2016 

Where:  St-Columba-By-The-Lake Presbyterian Church, 11 Rodney Ave, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R

Lunch: 11:30-1:30 am

Dinner: 5:00-7:00 pm

$25 per bowl $5 children (soup only) $50 per family (2 craft bowls and soup for everyone)


100% proceed will be donated to Corbeille de Pain / *Bread Basket Lac-Saint-Louis to fight hunger.

Club Velo Dorval is organizing a bike tour in support of Bread Basket, just before the start of Empty Bowls. Departure from St Columba at 2pm, return at 4:30pm. $15 to participate. Registration and Info:

*Bread Basket Lac-St.Louis is a non profit organization based in Pointe Claire and runs food security initiatives to empower people in the West Island to feed themselves and their families.
