This open-air Fundraiser to celebrate the life and memory of your loved ones will be held at Centennial Park in Dollard des Ormeaux on July 8, 2018 at 1:30
Participants will have the opportunity to sponsor a butterfly and release it in honour or in memory of a loved one.
The butterflies which will have been bred by M. Rene Boutin (M. Papillon) at his home in Chambly, Qc, are delivered in specially tailored packages. These dark and cool conditions keep the butterflies in a comfortable resting state until the day of the release. Once the package is opened, the natural heat and light will awaken these sleeping beauties and inspire them to take flight.
When the special moment arrives, all participants open their release boxes witnessing the majesty of the painted lady and monarch butterfly. These beautiful butterflies joyfully emerge and dance in flight to the delight and amazement of everyone!
