As of June 15, businesses offering personal-care services will be allowed to reopen in the Montreal area. The West Island Blog speaks with Felicia Covone, a hairdresser at Mute Salon in Montreal, to reveal the measures in place for ensuring the safety of customers and staff against COVID-19. Also, how do hairdressers feel about going back to work, knowing that the 2-metre distance may not be possible at all times.
Services permitted to reopen as of June 15 include skincare, hair removal, barbers and hairdressers, tattoo parlours and nail salons.
