The provincial police have initiated a comprehensive search operation on land and air in Bracebridge, aiming to locate a missing man.
Departments engaged in the mission include the prestigious OPP Emergency Response Team, the astute K9 Unit, along with a skilled aviation team. The man they seek is 69-year-old Bruce, whose surname remains undisclosed at this point.
Bruce became a subject of concern on Wednesday afternoon when he failed to return home post a hiking journey. His alarmed family shared that the last time Bruce was sighted, it was approximately 9:30 Wednesday morning at Lakeshore Drive South.
Providing a description, they revealed that Bruce is of medium height, standing five feet and ten inches tall. He is slim, bald, and was last seen sporting a royal blue rain jacket. Completing his outfit were a pair of running shoes and dark-colored pants. The mission remains underway as every ticking second marks criticality in the search for Bruce.
