The Awakening Cafe is a monthly gathering where more than thirty members can share and learn from others who are on a similar path of wellness.  Each month on the third Tuesday of the month, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at  St. Mary’s Hall in Hudson two inspiring speakers share their journey and wisdom followed by a chance to connect with other members over tea and snacks.

According to Lianne Bridges, founder of the Awakening Cafe, this is a community that encourages growth of all kinds.  From the first visit with a simple connection to the inspiring member who speaks for the first time, the learning is endless.  Support and guidance is a common thread that joins us together.

“Five years ago I left the corporate world to move towards a more conscious business,” Bridges told The Suburban in an interview,”the Awakening Cafe is where like minded people can meet once a month to learn from one another. The Cafe has a way of attracting whole hearted, experts in wellness fields that so often end up being the person or connection another member has been searching to find.”

The new year’s line up will include topics for discussion such as:

Ramzi Cheety, life coach: living with purpose,
Suzanne Cholette, life coach: removing limiting beliefs, lifting vital energy,
Dolores Meade, psychotherapist: creating and enhancing emotional connection in couples
Lianne Bridges, social entrepreneur strategist: finding your zen spot.

The monthly meetings are complimented with what Bridges has named the Awakening Village, a spot to exhibit and shop. The village of entrepreneurs help support and promote one another through online networking and through public presentations at the cafe.

“The monthly meeting offers an exciting opportunity for vendors of healthy, sustainable and spiritual products to connect with a highly targeted audience of more than 30 people each month,” Bridges explained.
