Highway 40 to close completely weekend of November 3 between Highway 13 (Exit 60) and Saint-Jean Boulevard (Exit 52)

Montrealers are being asked to forecast their plans and take Highway 20 if you live on the Island of Montréal or go around the island if you live off island.

This major operation will allow the demolition of a railway bridge (former Doney antenna) over Highway 40. The work will be intensive day and night to wind things up before traffic hits the roads for rush hour Monday morning.

This initiative means 2,000 m3 of reinforced concrete will be dismantled in two days.

When: from Saturday, November 3 (6 pm) to Monday, November 5 (5 am) / closing of feeder roads as of Saturday at 3 p.m.

Where: Between Highway 13 (Exit 60) and Saint-Jean Boulevard (Exit 52)
