The Weather Network has issued a high heat and humidity warning for the Island of Montreal. Over the next couple of days, temperatures will reach 30 degrees Celsius with high humidity levels making it feel like 40 degrees. The heat peaks on Saturday and will begin to cool as of Monday.
The high heat is a great time to take advantage of the numerous pools or splash pads across the West Island.
Staying hydrated is essential during periods of high heat. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times, and stay in the shade or indoors when possible. Remember to keep vigilant for signs of heatstroke and heat exhaustion.
Have fun, stay hydrated and most importantly stay safe!
