The previous week saw 95 percent of all those who were infected with COVID-19 being persons that had not been fully immunized, health officials said Wednesday.
More specifically, the health ministry reported that 64.5 percent had not received even the first dose, while 31 percent had only the first jab.
Some of the infected person’s needed hospitalization, with the proportion of those with a single jab being 95 percent between June 27th and July 3rd.
The health ministry said they got the figures from Quebec’s Institute of Public Health.
This also implies that 5 percent of those they reported as infected had both doses.
Health Minister Christian Dubé will issue a press update regarding ongoing immunization campaigns this Thursday, at 1pm.
