Halifax police are looking for a driver of a four-door white vehicle suspected of watching children from afar on two different occasions. The two incidents happened on Wednesday and Thursday.

The first incident happened around 1 p.m. on June 2. A white Hyundai Elantra with tinted windows was seen on Barry Allen Drive in the Portland Estates area. The driver has spent time sitting in the car, observing children who were playing nearby. When approached by a woman, the driver left the area.

Halifax regional police have limited information on the driver. They believe that he is a white man with a heavyset build.

Const. John McLeod, a public information officer with Halifax police, stated:

“We are looking to speak with the driver or anyone that might have any information in relation to it.”
