A gunshot was fired Friday night in an apartment building in the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
At around 2:15 a.m., a call was made to 911 regarding at least one gunshot inside an apartment on rue Saint-Georges, near Montée Sainte-Marie.
“The police secured the scene and no one was injured,” said Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM).
A firearm was found on the spot and two people were arrested.
The suspects, a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, were transported to the detention center where they will be met by investigators.
A security perimeter has been erected to allow investigators and forensic technicians to shed light on this event. A dog handler was also involved.
