Next year, music enthusiasts in Fredericton have something big to expect. The East Coast Music Awards event will be held in Fredericton. Organizers say there will be a 5-day schedule scheduled between May 4 and 8, 2022.
The news release also said this event will be a large cultural event, bigger than before, and will bring together industry professionals and artists.
This will be the second time Fredericton hosts this event, with the first one being that of 2008.
Fredericton’s new mayor, Kate Rogers, stated that they are excited to be hosting this event.
With other huge events also slated to come to Fredericton, including Harvest Jazz and Blues, the mayor said the city won’t a difficult time hosting the musicians, guests and staff that will be in attendance.
She added that it is her hope the ECMAs will run with little to no restriction on physical distancing, as has been in the past.
