Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Claims Lives in Southeast White City: RCMP Probes Incident

In a tragic series of events, a fatal two-vehicle collision southeast of White City sadly ended the lives of a 22-year-old woman from Kipling, Sask. and a 47-year-old man from Arkansas this past Saturday. The RCMP has confirmed the incident.

The unfortunate event happended on Highway 48, in proximity to the community of Davin. The emergency services were alerted to the scene of the accident around 6:30 in the evening, following a brutal collision between a truck and a car.


Both victims were declared deceased at the scene. A third individual, a male passenger travelling in the same car as the 22-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.

At the time of the incident, the responding authorities reported that access to Highway 48 was temporarily obstructed due to the primary response to the collision. However, it has since been reopened.

The RCMP has already informed the families of the deceased. To respect their privacy in this time of grieving, the authorities have decided not to release any names to the public.

The RCMP continues to probe into the tragic incident, meticulously investigating every lead.

The community of Davin, Sask., where the sorrowful event unfolded, is located just about 39 kilometres east of Regina.
