Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Manitoba and Winnipeg, noting cols temperatures will be felt through Wednesday evening.
A few minutes after 8 pm, on Tuesday, EC issued the advisory stating Winnipeg and Manitoba should expect an unseasonably cold airmass over the prairies since a high-pressure ridge already exists in the area.
EC said that since the cloud cover cleared away on Tuesday evening, temperatures will drop to just under zero.
The advisory will cover much of western Manitoba, right from Minnedosa all the way to The Pas.
Environment Canada urged people in these areas to cover up their plants.
