Environment Canada Issued Tornado Warnings For Parts Of West-Central Saskatchewan

On Tuesday afternoon, storms were raging through western Saskatchewan. At around 5:40 p.m. CST, Environment Canada has decided to issue a tornado warning for western and central parts of the province. Towns of Kindersley, Brock and Flaxcombe were endangered in particular.

Eyewitnesses even took pictures of a tornado near D’Arcy. The emergency services reacted immediately, issuing a warning for several other communities, including The Battlefords and Rosetown.

Environment Canada meteorologists tracked the thunderstorms, stating that it was moving northeast at 20 kilometers per hour. They stated that tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and locally intense rainfall were all a possibility.
