46

Freezing Rain warning has finally come to an end on Prince Edward Island. Environment Canada has decided to end the warning on freezing rain at about 2 p.m. Sunday. A large part of the island was ravaged by freezing rain and storms, and on Sunday morning, more than 200 Maritime Electric customers were left without power in the eastern part of the province.

Power has been restored to almost all of them. On Saturday, Environment Canada issued the freezing rain warning for Kings County, and it also extended it to Queens County on Sunday.
