Like so many sectors, non-profit organizations have been hard hit by the restrictions posed to keep our population safe from the spread of COVID-19.
Our local hospital’s foundation, the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (LGHF) is feeling this strain.
In a normal year, the LGHF would host its annual gala as well as a golf tournament, but due to COVID-19, both have been cancelled.
Luckily, their Dollars and Destinations fundraiser is still a go…with a slightly different approach.
Since tickets cannot be sold at the hospital, the LGHF is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help them with ticket sales. Watch below as the foundation’s Managing Director, Heather Holmes explains the details in the clip below.
