Edmonton Police Seek Public Aid in Locating Missing Indigenous Teen

The Edmonton Police Department has issued a call to the public for assistance in locating a missing teen, Juannita Calliou, last sighted mid-October on Whyte Avenue.

Sixteen-year-old Juannita was officially reported missing on October 10th. She is of Indigenous descent, standing at an approximate height of 5 feet 7 inches, weighing in at 200 pounds. She is easily identifiable by her brown hair and a distinctive rose tattoo adorning her forearm. Her last known whereabouts trace back to the week of October 16th, where she was spotted in the vicinity of Whyte Avenue availing youth services.

Typically known for using public transit systems, Juannita is reported to often frequent areas located downtown and along Whyte. Furthermore, she holds ties with the Peace River community and it is speculated that she might have sought a journey to the area.
