In a terrifying event that gripped Edmonton, a blind and non-verbal woman was allegedly abducted from the north side of the city. An Amber Alert was promptly sent out by the local police on Thursday evening, approximately half an hour prior to her location being determined.
This frightful sequence of events began to unfold earlier in the evening when Cindy Tin, aged 40, was reportedly taken in a commandeered vehicle. The incident purportedly took place around the vicinity of 118 Avenue and 91 Street.
The specific vehicle involved in this unsettling incident, according to police reports, was a white 2013 model Toyota Sienna mini-van. Given the circumstances that rapidly transpired, the identity and description of the driver remained uncertain at the time of alert.
Upon her distressing and untimely disappearance, an active search was initiated. The perseverance of the authorities finally paid off when they discovered Tin just beyond Edmonton’s city limits. The comforting news was that despite her ordeal, Tin was found to be “safe and unharmed.”
In a twist of events, the authorities believe that the alleged abductor abandoned the van and took to flight on foot. The police remain committed to their relentless search, demonstrating their dedication to ensuring the safety of the city’s citizens.
