As part of Dorval’s “Sunset Dance” series, the show Flowers for Pina, presented by Jocelyne Montpetit Danse, will take place on August 11, 2016, at 7 p.m., at Pine Beach Park.
After a 30-year internationally renowned career, Jocelyne Montpetit shares with her students her discovery of Pina Bausch, whom she saw for the first time on stage at the Avignon Festival in 1980, when she was their age. The tribute to this amazing woman, now deceased, reveals the immense talent of Jocelyne Montpetit and takes us on a journey to discover the human spirit.
In case of bad weather, this free show will be held at Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre (1401 Lakeshore Drive), in Dorval.
