HHW and ICT Waste Pickup on April 16
New Addition This Year: Polystyrene Pickup
The City of Dorval will hold a household hazardous waste (HHW) and information and communications technologies (ICT) waste pickup on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the parking lot of Ballantyne Park located on 520 Bouchard Boulevard. New this year, the City of Dorval will also collect polystyrene articles (plastic number 6). In the form of foam or hard plastic, coloured or transparent, polystyrene items can be identified by a triangle with the number 6 inside.
The City of Dorval invites you to make a difference in the preservation of the environment and take part in these special pickups. Only domestic waste will be accepted at the collection. Waste from industries, businesses, and institutions will be refused.
Dorval residents will therefore be able to drop off any ICT waste (computers, screens, printers, televisions, radios, cellphones, and so forth), HHW, and polystyrene items at the same location.
ICT waste will be collected by EPRA-Québec, a non-profit organization recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC and in charge of Quebec Program for the Recovery and Reclamation of Electronic Products.
For the complete list of accepted HHW, visit www.city.dorval.qc.ca

Through this pickup, the City of Dorval can, in a safe and responsible way, dispose of waste materials, which take up more and more space in landfill sites.
