Denver Broncos Unveil Fresh Mile High Collection, Celebrating Unique Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

In a landmark shift not seen since 1997, the Denver Broncos have showcased their freshly minted uniforms on Monday. Marking a significant break with tradition, the ‘Mile High Collection’ offers ten distinctive uniform combinations, three styles of helmets and four jerseys while thoughtfully preserving their cherished helmet logo.

Meticulously crafted with accents that nod to Colorado’s breathtaking landscapes, the collection introduces a sophisticated dark blue helmet, deemed ‘metallic satin’ by its creators. A throwback orange ensemble, inclusive of the historic blue ‘D’ helmet, marks a salute to the Broncos’ first indomitable Super Bowl showing in 1977 and the much-loved ‘Orange Crush’ era.

Randy Gradishar, erstwhile linebacker, is all set for an impending induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in July, becoming the first of the Orange Crush fraternity to secure this prestigious honor in Canton.

Gradishar graced a promotional video, joined by star cornerback Patrick Surtain II, creating a buzz about the fresh collection.

Tightly entwined with the Broncos’ proud legacy, the rest of the pieces from the ensemble are presented in the team’s current colors: sunset orange for home, summit white for away, and midnight navy for alternate matches. The helmet logo and colors echo the shades of their uniforms, pairing metallic satin helmets in navy for home and away matches, and white to complement the alternate uniform.

“As we toast the champion’s heritage of the Broncos,” Broncos’ team president, Damani Leech, voiced, “we’re equally dedicated to nurturing innovation and growth during this game-changing chapter in franchise history. The Mile High Collection embodies a daring fusion of our past, present, and future while saluting Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region, our cherished home.”

To ensure the creations were in tune with their fans’ pulse, the team received input from over 10,000 fans. Carre Walton Penner, the team co-owner, joined forces with Damani Leech and chief marketing officer Hailey Sullivan to meet with Nike’s creative minds at their Beaverton, Oregon headquarters, leading to several eye-catching transformations.

Embellishments include an orange ‘5280’ gracing the front helmet bumpers, emblematic of Denver’s legendary mile-high elevation. The font on the back nameplates offers a homage to the timeless signage of national parks populating Colorado. A triangle label, borrowing from the popular motifs of summit markers sprinkled throughout the Rocky Mountain region, enriches the outer neck tag. An inspirational ‘Broncos Country’ motif, embossed across the back of the inner neck tag, is coupled with a vertically embroidered ‘5280’.
