Nettoyeur Daoust has gone green.
Recently, the friendly owner of the Kirkland establishment who goes simply by his first name Kevin, has switched all of his dry cleaning equipment to now use only biodegradable products, no more harsh chemicals.
“Prices have stayed the same,” Kevin said. “But we have changed our machines and our cleaning process to be a lot more energy efficient and the new system provides less war and tear on your garments.”
Nettoyeur Daoust is the first dry cleaning establishment on the West Island to go green. Besides now using a “different waste removal as it used to be toxic removal pollution a the end of the day, we can get the colour back in hour clothes with our new process and we can even correct a bad dry cleaning experience.”
The new dry cleaning products are water based and biodegradable. Another plus with the new system is that the process has “no fragrance and is odourless so there are no picnicky smells or lingering odours which makes it safer for our customers.”
As always, alterations are still done on site.
Nettoyeur Daoust is located at 2,873 St. Charles in Kirkland.
