Despite the many pressures of the holiday season – in collaboration with Volunteer West Island – UPS’s Rafik Morcos, and Lyne Poirier and Bertrand Rougeau from Cummins contacted teams from amongst their employees to answer an urgent request from The Teapot’s Volunteer Coordinator Judy Martini for people to help out at the Lachine community centre’s annual Christmas Party for seniors.
Volunteers from both companies took time out from their busy schedules to lend a hand decorating the hall and setting up tables, serving a festive meal, and tidying up afterwards, thus providing Christmas enjoyment and happy memories for everyone.
