Coldplay’s Chris Martin Delivers Surprise Karaoke Performance in Vegas Dive Bar

Last Saturday night at Dino’s Lounge, a legendary dive bar in Las Vegas, the crowd was treated to an extraordinary karaoke performance that went far beyond the typical Saturday night fare. The singer, disguised in a wig, thick black glasses, and an unassuming suit, belted out Coldplay’s soulful ballad “All My Love” from their upcoming album “Moon Music,” set to release on October 4.

The singer was none other than Chris Martin, the frontman of Coldplay, fresh from a solo set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena. Unrecognizable in his dorky ensemble, Martin delivered a performance that the small, packed audience will likely never forget. Only the bar’s owner, Martin, his bodyguard, and a Live Nation film crew documenting the event, knew the true identity of the performer. Even the bar staff were left in the dark.

In the middle of his performance, Martin held a red balloon, a whimsical touch that he had purchased from a vendor in the parking lot. As the audience began to realize who they were watching, a woman, identified by Martin as “Trish,” approached the stage to hug him, and he graciously handed her the balloon. The crowd erupted in cheers as Martin thanked them, exclaiming “Thank you so much, everybody. Thanks for letting me do that. Beatles forever.”

The magical moment was captured on video by Laurie Rogers and uploaded to YouTube, where it quickly garnered 16,000 views by Sunday night. The comments were filled with admiration. One user, @HummingbirdInAHurricane, remarked, “Gestures like this reinforce and magnify why Chris Martin has always struck me as one of the most humble, down to earth lead singers among all established groups.”

Dino’s Lounge has a long and colorful history. Originally built as a liquor store named Ringside by mobster Eddie Trascher in the 1950s, it was transformed into Dino’s Lounge by Rinaldo “Dino” Bartolomucci in 1962. The bar was later passed down to his son, Chuck, and then to his daughter, Kristin Bartolo. Positioned south of the Stratosphere and across from the Peppermint Hippo gentlemen’s club, Dino’s remains one of Las Vegas’s oldest and most beloved bars.
