No more plastic boxes everywhere at the CHUM, the Hospital Center Foundation unveiled Friday morning six interactive donation terminals scattered throughout the institution.

By setting up interactive terminals for collecting donations, the Foundation becomes the first in North America to acquire this technology. The six terminals are scattered in strategic areas of the hospital and should facilitate the collection of donations.

Modern and efficient, the new facilities will allow people to make a donation using a credit card or debit, without contact and on their mobile device.

“We are less and less liquid in terms of carrying cash. We use a lot of card payment methods, “explained CHUM Foundation Executive Director Julie Chaurette.

As of today, you can support chum’s mission by using one of the six donation stations in the hospital. It will never have been so easy, fast and safe to donate to the chum foundation.
