First problem I had at Christina’s was I forgot to take pics of what I was eating it was so good!!! So you are out of luck on the spanakopita – sorry – it was amazing and fresh not mention gone in minutes. So fresh I had an order prepared to take home before I even finished eating.
Christina’s is a family restaurant in Laval. Christina is the mom and she is in the kitchen along with her son George and her daughter Dora works in the front. There are 30 tables so you need a reservation if you are going from the West Island. It is well worth the twenty five minutes to get there. The thing that strikes me is how fresh everything was. Service was top – a real deal breaker for me – Manny was kind, fun and guided us through the menu with expertise. Thanks for that!!
We order two salads, traditional greek with tomatoes and cucumbers and feta as well as a green salad that was crisp. The tzatziki was creamy and dare I say FRESH. I really enjoyed it. Can you tell?
We followed our appetizers with lamb chops and a fish dish. Yummy. I cannot say enough about the french fries, they were excellent, cooked to golden perfection, we also ordered rice because I wanted to see what that was like. Also very good. The menu is extensive. Their traditional souvlaki is “mean” according to my son.
Christina’s is open every day starting at 11 am closing Monday through Thursday at 21h00, Friday and Saturday at 22h00 and Sunday at 20h00
