On Sunday, police services have remained at a residence in Charlottetown, saying that they are investigating a “suspicious death”. Charlottetown Police Services issued a news release two days ago, declaring that they will be investigating the death in the next few days. They also stated that this case is not a threat to the public.

Although it’s yet unknown how the police found out about the victim’s death, by 7 p.m. Saturday several police vehicles arrived in Charlottetown’s St. Peters Road and parked in front of the house there. Det. Darren MacDougall said that police are investigating a single death but hasn’t shared any additional information. For now, it is still unknown who the victim is or what the cause of the person’s death was. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the police in hazmat suits. Also, the Summerside police forensic identification section was there.
